Just signed with TMobile, got Pearl...have questions
So I just got the blackberry pearl signing a new contract with TMobile and cancelling my previous carriers contract. I have a lot of friends that have the Pearl and I've never noticed it on theirs, but I'm having some issues:
The audio is really low on it. The volume while on speaker phone seems like that should be the regular earpiece volume.
Whenever I go into my menu from the main screen it comes up slow. Like you can gradually see it appear. its weird.
So...my question is: is this how the Pearl works, or should I take it back?

I'm not sure. Mine doesn't do that. I would go back to the store and look at other Pearls, see if they do the same thing and go from there. If you're using the speakerphone, you'll be happier with a bluetooth headset. It's more than loud enough.
