Last day on the job.....Reflections and Advice..Goodbye T-Mobile!
As I reflect back on my career in the wireless industry, there remains a few things I will never miss....
1. Water splashing on my desk when opening the back of a phone, while the customer says, and I know I get a free one, cuz I've never got it wet.
2. Raheem, who came in pissed because we "screwed up his bill." After 5 minutes of verbal abuse, I say "So if I can clarify, You're from Saudi Arabia, and the calls on your bill are to Saudi Arabia, but we just put them on there to jack your bill up?.....right.
3. Sam, a former co-worker who pulled every Nigerian scam to con me, and the company. Glad you got canned. And all the other wireless scammers out there who pull shady activations that should have been upgrades.
4. All of the morons that shoved their nasty broken phone in my face and said: "Fix it!"
5. All of the Dad's that bought their 9 year old a blackberry pearl.
6. Sidekick for making the worst phone known to man.
7. Wireless Insurance.
8. Shanna, who activated and deactivated lines for every weekly boyfriend she conned into hooking up with her. Good Riddance!
9. Junior and all of his friend who stood in line for 30 minutes every week so I could re-load the prepaid minutes on his phone.
10. The care rep that took 45 min. to change a mobile number the other day, and when I refreshed the screen, nothing happened. Thanks, you are really good at your job.
11. The guy who flipped each person off at my store while saying "F@ck you to each of us" You accomplished a lot, and Im sure the overages aren't on there anymore because of that.
12. Larry the cab driver who threw my loaner phone against the wall when his numbers didn't transfer from his old phone that HE broke.
13. And lastly to all of you that demand you know what you are talking about...and don't. to Gina, who wondered why her text messages weren't going through faster because "I HAVE BLUETOOTH!!!"
Thank you all for making my job, at least...hilarious at times.
