Depends on how poor your credit is. There is SmartAccess, which basically just has a spending balance. If that is not available then there may be a $250 or $500 dep.

i agree. did you need a deposit or anything from verizon? how much? they can go as high as $1000 bucks, which is absurd for a cell phone. go check it out.

T-Mobile rarely does $500 deposits now. usually the $250 pops up. As far as credit goes, people admit to having having 4 collection agencies on them and still get apporved for 5 lines. as far as i have seen t-mo gives you trouble if you have ZER0 credit. to be honest $250 deposit is better then Smart Access. Smart Access can give you many headaches along with a $25 re-activation fee each time your line get suspended.

my friend went to tmobile and the told her she had a 75 dollar deposit, before that she went to alltel and they said 1000!!!!!!!!!! 😳

75 is for an "application fee" that is non-refundable for "T" class credit (smart access).
