If you goto www.bb.org and type in tmobile... it says HQ (Head Quarters).....

So it's for the entire company since the HQ is listed in the same city as T-mo's HQ.

I'm not a troll... I love T-mobile... if you do a search on my posts you will see that...

In fact I have donated some very useful Tmo info to this forum...

I just stumbled upon this and thought I would share....

Why wouldn't you do it from the same city? I'm confused about that one. Please explain.

I have worked for Cingular for a good many years and now work for T-Mobile and I believe some (but of course not all) of the complaints come from the type customer they attract.

I have never ever seen so many low income poverty striken customers (both white and black, for those thinking Im going racial) in the store getting approved no deposit whereas Cingular would have thrown a $500 deposit at them, always paying late (99% of payments I take no joke are late), and causing the biggest flipping scene over something on their bill or with messed up phone. There is no explaining when they are too busy telling their family member on the phone how I am trying to get over on them.

I miss the more 'classy' customers that Cingular attracted wh...

Oh my Jesus. I'm actually thinking about going from the XBM call center they have in my city to either general customer service or tech support for T-Mobile. Should I do it? Does the ghetto-ness fall into all of T-Mobile like cust care or just in the stores?

Well, I would say it trickles down as usually when Laquisha comes in on a Friday pointing her finger at me insisting she didnt get her phone wet as I point to the liquid indicators she will qith a quickness grab the store phone to 'go over my head'.

I feel sorry to the poor reps on the phone that get the verbal abuse day in and day out.

Honestly, I have worked not only in customer care, but in retention (where all the really pissed off customers go) for over two years now. I have worked for other call centers and T-Mobile has been the best. That is including the customers we speak with and the company. Yes, we sell more affordable service and sell to more people with a lower credit score, and, yes, we get some interesting calls, but overall, we deal with businesses, families, etc. just like everybody else. I suggest giving it a try.

people who work in the business and still act like one phone company is really that much better crack me up. No one made you leave cingular, you left for a reason, and you went online and filled out your little tmo application for a reason. But cingular is soo much better, sound familar to anyone else. sprints better because they gave me a free phone with a million minutes for 3.75. Then to say that cingular has "classier" customers, is an insult. No one likes being cursed out, but that is what we do, we are the ones who help people stay in contact. sure it's thankless, but that is what is re is. I work in a market that is right between rich and poor land, we get all kinds, and from experience the ones who can afford will fight yuo ju...

I dont believe it. T-mo and sprints numbers look like they might be realistic, but theres no way that Att, the service with the most customers in the US, has that few complaints. Its just not realistic especially since T-mo has better customer service according to JD Powers.

the number is kinda misleading
this is by region
Cingular: Atlanta
T-Mobile: Seattle
Sprint: Kansas City

These complaints were taken off each respective corporate city..... where most of the complaints arte filed. Since this was done for each company it is a pretty close representation...

Just goto www.bbb.org and type in T-mobile or Cingular etc.... it will have a little "HQ" symbol by one ... I took each company's "HQ" BBB reports.

try it for your self if you don't believe me.

The cities listed are where the companies have their headquarters.....If Sprint got over 23,000 complaints only in their home town.... 😳 .

It doesn't make any difference. It's how many complaints that are nationwide is what counts plus the customers that are complaining about T-Mobile, and I'm saying in most cases, are the ones who won't take responsibility for breaking their phone or going over their minutes. Those also don't count.

THEY ARE THE TOTAL OF NATIONWIDE COMPLAINTS.......THAT IS WHAT I AM TRYING TO GET ACROSS!!!!!!!! For the purposes of organization, all complaints are filed in the city of their HQ.......So there AREN'T any complaints against Sprint OUTSIDE Kansas!!!! 👿 Why is this concept so difficult to grasp?!?!?!

Because it doesnt make any sense. A smaller company with better customer service get 8 times the complaints as a company twice their size with a history of poor customer service and an unreliable network in many areas? It just doesnt add up...

Oh man, TMS is the absolute shadiest company around, I honestly don't know why T-Mobile does not drop them as a retailer, sure they put out alot of numbers, but, most are fraudulent or charged back within a couple months. T-Mobile is a good company and they care about their customers, but this is one thing I've never really understood from them.

There's 2 reasons T-Mobile hasn't dropped them. 1, They account for up to 1/4 of the total # of activations every quarter. That's a huge amount. And 2, those fraudulent/charge backs have significantly decreased because they know they have a bad reputation and, believe it or not, they're working changing both the perception of their company and in how they do business. This isn't to say that stuff still doesn't happen. It does, absolutely but it's also something they're working on.
