is it true that tmo cant send picture message to alltel????
when i first got my alltel phone my husband (tmo) and i (alltel) where able to send eachother pic messages just fine, then suddenly i couldnt receive them anymore, called tmobile and a rep said they cant send them to alltel and couldnt understand why it was working in the first place>>>>
its kinda important since my hubby is in the army when he leaves--i want to be able to send him quick pics of the babies

Does Alltel support support ip addys? (email). If so, send your picture via email. He should be able to get the baby's pic.

he can get my pics now, i just cant get his. so one problem is fixed. he tried sending it trough emal to me my#@message.alltel.com, but nothing.
guess i have to wait 72 hours for the trouble ticket to go through

he has tmo i have alltel. for right now he can receive all my picture messages and text. but i can only recieve his text not his pic. ive asked my other tmo friends to send me pics and nothing i dont recieve them--even if they send to my alltel email.
hope this is just with tmo and not with other providers. i got to sprint friends i have to catch up to to see if they can send me a pic and i can recieve it, ill try with verizon to, if it doesnt work then its my phone.
alltel just called and ssaid my trouble ticket was going to get sent else where to a higher place or something because this is a issue that requires more technical support. so lets see, may be other costumers had the same problem

Are you using a new phone? When you send your pix, so you go through your contacts?
I want you to go through your contacts and tell me if the arae code is attached to the phone number. If not, attach the area code, and re-send the pic, and tell me what happens.

yeah he uses area my area code when he sends it to me.
it says sending message, the message sent.
when i go to his sent message folder i open it and go to information it says "waiting for delivery report"
and i never receive it

Sounds like the phone isn't reading to their network properly. I'd recomend taking to a tech, if one's available to you. It can also be programming or a settong. Good luck.
