No difference if she used T-Mobile corporate or indirect dealer unless she opted for insurance.
Right now they have V600 for free plus $75 back, hard to beat that. And you can have the phone unlocked later thru tmol.

Yes but it is actually a Nokia 6230 sold for Cingular that has 850, 1800 and 1900 MHz bands and not the 900 band he needs.

it doesnt matter if it supports 850 or 900, tmobile ONLY uses 1900, and you can send the picture message settings AND t-zones settings to your phone DIRECTLY from NOKIA's website

Well as long as the company you purchase your phones from is a legitimate authorized T-Mobile agent/dealer you should have no problems. The company (T-Mobile) has contractual agreements with these sources that protect our customers as far as SERVICE...Phones however, we don't own...the source you're buying them from does...Pay particular attention to things like dealers adding their own 90 day return policy on top of our 14 day buyers remorse which does say for ANY reason you can trade/return/cancel within that time, and pay only for what you used. Dealers will often ask for "Deposits" which they hold themselves for 90 days, this is because if you cancel in those 90 days they will get their commission charged back to them...with your "d...
