AberFitchDuDe87

I was wondering what T-Mobile had up their sleeve for the year 2005? Like what phones, plans, Data service, etc? 😎

Thanks!

Just more junk, 1900 MHz related garbage. Phones mainly from cheap, generic manufacturers (of course excluding Moto, Nokia, etc..), data services that generally dont work in doors, etc. 😎

Welcome!

What do you mean even verizon cant, Cingular is the biggest and most reliable network And even before the merger we had a larger mobile to mobile base than their "IN" network ever did. Verizon is nothing...well actually compaired to t-mobile, verizon is extrememly dominating but they are have stepped into the shadows along with everyone else...i mean quit joking yourelves and be completely honest now that cingulars network is overlapped with at&t's noone is going to have better coverage...and if you dont realize that then you really need out of the business world.

there's the best way to tryout yourself
about GSM850, it's EGSM, uses 2 watts of power like GSM900, then everybody thinks it has better penetration, well GSM1900 has better penetration with 2 watts than 1 watt
again, Cingular + ATT =/= double coverage, the best is fill each other's hole
2005 and 2006 will be years of Grand Shuffle, then let's see how's winner
I have been in several places (NY, NJ, PA, GA, NC, SC), I don't have big deal with coverage
personal experience is the best answer to find out who's better

well
with Cingular phone (except multi-band)
you're unable to use it in China and Hong Kong (this is only a corner)
on the other side, except you're using 1900, you may not be able to use the phone purchased overseas
if GSM850 is good, why Cingular don't use only 850, and dump ALL 1900?!
as long as I have reception where I am, who cares the coverage?!

It doesnt have to be 100% everywhere, but off into neighborhoods, away from major highways and roads ARE where people need them, and thats T.Mobile's biggest pitfall....

Uhhhhh Blue boy,

Take that stick shaped cell outta your ass pal! Because that stick shaped Cell phone is a Cingular phone, which albeit maybe tri-band, but it doesn't entertain the 900 MHz frequency and I have verified this as a fact from Cingular Corporate Stores as well as Kiosks in the mall closest to my place here in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro. And so when GSM phones would not work in one of the more major countries/continents in the world....Asia then it would defeat the purpose of getting a cell phone with an intention of needing a phone that works in that part of the world because guess what a--hole? Some of us "T-Mobile Customers" (that's ri...

My best friend is a t-mobile rep in your atlanta store and all he does is complain about how the coverage sucks and how t-mobile treats their employees like crap, he only got hired by t-mobile (it was his second choice) bc cingular wasnt hiring in atlanta. I love how blind you guys are, your coverage map is a joke, the easiest customers to deal with are the ones that come in saying that they are thinking about switching to t-mobile, all i have to do is go to your website pull up your map and compare it to our (even before the merger) and not one of my customers have left, come to think of it we ussually have a good laugh at how crappy your coverage is...looks like spider webs or vains HORRIBLE...so take your blinders off and quit lying to ...

I have been in Atlanta as well
the place I have weak T-Mobile reception is in rural area, and verizon is not better either
then why Cingular buyout ATT?
consider that

about coverage, Cingular + ATT =/= double coverage, the best is filling hole each other, in NYC, Cingular will use ATT system, which is proved not good enough, and I bet Cingular would not dump Tmo system here, period
soon old Cingular coverage in CA/NV = future T-Mobile coverage, it'll be native, no more roaming

well looky
T-Mobile has had great coverage in UK, DE, CZ
they're working hard in US, T-Mobile International next target for great coverage: US
I check the coverage map in 2002, then you notice the whooping change
the customer increased about 4M (35%) compared to 2003, this is a huge increase, then why a single provider can gain such number without fusion?!
then why Cingular buyout ATT?
there'll be a Grand Shuffle happen in 2005-2006, who is a winner? only time can tell
but keep in mind, advertisement, phone selection, pricing can attract customers; but reputation is much more effective way to attract customers, you can ask T-Mobile US customers (renewed contract customers) why they "stay tuned"
verizon has CDMA800, but not better tha...

Once again, stop comparing to the rest of the world!!! We are talking about here and now, not the UK, DE, CZ (all places where we have 99 cent/min roaming).

There is no way you can compare TMobile 1900 to Verizon CDMA....Verizon rips TMobile a new one. And again, 20kW this and 5kW that, nevermind Hong Kong.

PS...If you want to at least sound somewhat intelligent, please use spell and grammar check 😎

It's fairly obvious that you are probably using English as a second language and I was poking fun at the original person who told you to use a spell checker, since you actually are more coherent than a lot of the native English speakers who post here...
