I have a question that I would appriciate an answer to...

I currently have At&T.

Unfortunatly my account has been suspended.

Can I still port my number?

If you have any tips, please let me know..

Thanks,

A couple years ago, you were able to port a number if the line was suspended. Not sure if that's still the case...

I work for Verizon, I know we can port a number that has been suspended (i.e. non payment), as long as it hasnt been totally disconnected.

I would assume (maybe wrongly), that all carriers can do it?

so what your saying is you didn't pay your bill that your charged and you are not going to so you will just go to another carrier? And we wonder what is wrong with this country?

I agree with you what you're saying, you should always pay your bills; but he/she is just asking if the number can be ported or not.

true however they said their account is suspended. Had they worded it can a number be ported when suspended then I would have not said anything!

You might be able to port it, but if it was suspended due to non-pay then more than likely your deposit is going to be sky high.

T-Mobile doesn't have deposits anymore. It's either contract or no contract.

If it's no contract, you must buy the phoen aat full retail, unless you already have a phone.

still a deposit for post paid if you want 5 lines and only approved for 3. 250 per additional line. this applies to flexpay also.

but if you need 2 lines, most likey you are good to go.

and yes of course you can get 3 lines and put the other two on flexpay no contract... but that will just be more expensive in the long run, especailly since you get your 250 back after a year.

I didn't know that. They told me that I couldn't get a postpaid account.

the phone number has to an "active" line. you have a 50-50 chance it will come over or not when it is suspended. if you got suspended one day and went to a different carrier next day, you shoul be fine. if it has been 15 days or later, most likely not.
