3g on tmobile...soon!?
does anyone know about the supposed 3g coming to tmobile soon? i talked to a rep at tmobile and she told me she couldnt release information but i could expect somthing in the next few months. i called again asked another rep they put me on hold and said the only country with 3g is japan... (bullshit) and the third rep told be no plans for 3g for another year. im pissed from the different stories! if anyone knows please fill me in im waiting to get a new phone because i dont wanna buy the WING if theres somthing 3g coming soon!

different answers because no one knows. our on site tech guy said Q4 2007 or Q1 2008. thats it. we have a samsung comming out with the 3g bands on sept 10th i think.
japan has what we call "true" 3g.. which really means that that is the ONLY network they use.
it is a big seceret for some reason. i honestly think after chirstmas. not before or during, because we will be way too busy with sales and amping the network for higher use. 3g will just make thing more complicated for everyone.

no additional data devices are planned to come out... as far as we know... but the wing is awesome, if you need the features do it... its a matter if you want to buy on for 499.99 now and get a discount later or 299.99 and pay full price or partial discount later.
tough decision. i think its a great device, but i also think is a good idea to wait until at least november. for discount purposes and more news on 3g.
