Thanks to this forum I now know how to send a picture from my computer to my phone and to use picture as a Wallpaper. I'm wondering however on my Samsung SGH C 225 if I can use some of those pictures and have them pop up as caller ID pics? In other words when someone calls that I have added to my phonebook I would see the picture I assigned to their number instead of the generic screen. Is this possible with this model phone? I see something on MY TMOBILE about caller ID pics but it only states where you can download some, not how to apply it to your phone?

😕 HMMM
Well, there are definately phones you can do that with, but because its becoming more of a standard now-days than an option, most manufacturers don't actively promote that anymore. I don't quite honestly know if it does or not. I've got to work today, but I work graveyard at the moment, so I'll check that out when I get there more in depth. On most phones that do have it though, you might want to try to either view your selected photo, and hit options and there may be something there that says "set as caller ID", or from your phone book list view your selected number and hit options and there may be something there that says "set picture as caller ID". I will double check though.

The user's manual for the C225 doesn't show an entry for caller ID pix, and it doesn't have an entry in the index for wallpapers either, so I'm betting the handset doesn't support the feature. I also bet these guys ---> Samsung 1-888-987-4357 could tell you for sure. If not, we're all in big trouble! 😛

😕
yeah, I'm afraid Aleq is right, I checked on our phone "simulator" and also in the interactive user manual and there is nothing about picture caller ID, did not check with samsung, that is a great idea, though 🙂
