My wife (Mrs. Lapdog) uses TMO on a fam plan with one daughter. Can I E-Bay a Pearl, switch her sim to the Pearl and add the $9.99 BBY email only?

Yep.

Though I would suggest getting a T-Mo branded Pearl vs an unlocked one.
