Dash problem

I recently had a Pearl go bad. T-Mobile offered a replacement of another Pearl or the Dash. I took the Dash even though the email play would now cost ten dollars more per month. However, when I put the Dash on "Vibrate Mode" and then take it off, all of the audible notifications work EXCEPT the Calendar function. It stays on vibrate. The only way to fix it is to do a hard reset which forces me to reset up my email. Pain in the butt. T-Mobile tech support said that is a known problem with the Dash and there is nothing they can do about it! The company refused to allow me to go back to the Pearl by sending back their Dash. They forced me to pay another $100. for a new Pearl. So now I have a Dash I will not use.

What I would do is upgrade your Dash to WindowsMobile6... Do a backup and sync your Dash to your PC, then do the upgrade and resync.... You won't lose anything... and this should fix your problem.

P.S. T-mobile is offering a free WM6 upgrade for the Dash, just google it...

I had tech support walk me through changing to WM6. It had been shipped to me with WM5. are you suggesting deleting the OS and reinstalling it once again to fix the problem?
