Since T-Mo and Cingular/ATT are the only two major companies carrying GSM, is T-Mo expected to carry the Nokia flip phones next year?

I don't know what lineup have schedueled for any quarter in '05, but I heard talks of a nokia pda coming our way, and also a flip phone sometime too from nokia, However, Nokia flip phones can be bought from the manufacturer unlocked, all you'd need is to put your sim card in and shoot yourself the mms, wap, and internet setting using either manual imput for T-Zones (wap)

Thanks. I am currently a verizon customer, but I'm thinking about going over to T-Mo. I really like there phone selection and rate plans, but I only hear bad things about T-Mo. I live in the NYC metro area but I travel to upstate NY alot. Verizon obviously has better coverage, but I am getting tired of them...Any thoughts...

there's no doubt
Verizon has excellent coverage in upstate (Albany, Syracuse, Watertown/Fort Drum, Buffalo, Rochester, Nigara Falls)
however, the coverage for Verizon is not better than T-Mobile, if you decide to jump to T-Mobile, it's better to get Tracfone CDMA (it uses Verizon system), in case you need it in upstate

Tracfone is actually now using T-Mobile's network. I'll look more into it when I go in today, I don't know if it's only in some places or everywhere. Most of the CDMA tracfones are already grandfathered. I'll elaborate more when I get home and have had some time to look. Yes, though vzw has better coverage in upstate new york than us. However in NYC, we're quite good.

Ok, heres the scoop on this: Tracfone just became T-Mobile's first wholesale partner (reseller). As a reseller, Tracfone maintains it's own subscriber base and billing system. However, it provides wireless service to it's customers through T-Mobile's network. NOTE: Tracfone Wireless is a reseller for several service prov...

I believe DT has stock shares, but I don't think T-Mobile itself does. I'll look into that, good question, I'd like to know myself, too.
