Unlocked Phones?

I just bought two unlocked phones (v620 for myself and v501 for my girlfriend); I've never purchased an unlocked phone and was wondering, what steps I need to take to have our t-mobile service switched to these new phones. Do I need to contact t-mobile directly or is switching the sim cards sufficient enough, and will still be able to access my t-zones (grandfathered $2.99 plan - thought that was very classy of T-mobile to honor the original price).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, they will work just by switching you sim cards over.
As far as your T-Zones, you just need the settings, rather than get into all that on here, call customer care, we have an Over-the-Air configuration tool, in which we can send you the settings you need to use WAP(T-Zones), MMS(pic messages) and if needed Internet(use your phone as a modem). We also have manual settings to walk you through if you need 🙂
