ear piece volume
I am looking for a phone with decent if not too loud ear piece volume. most phones I have tried are too weak or sound muddy. anyone have any suggestions. this is not limited to the phones that tmobile is offering. I am looking at any phone that supports their network. all help appreciated.
thanks

sounds nice.

thanks for the reply. isnt the 490 like a less expensive version of the razr? I wonder if they share the same qualities in sound. still a very nice price point on the 490. I will take a closer look at it

actually, the w490 is better in almost every single way...
better camera, memory card slot, better battery, edge, slimmer, cooler colors
its like the RAZR for 2007

No buzzing in the ear piece? When I had the Razr I always heard this horrible buzzing noise.

that was because they sacrafices much to make the phone that thin, including the signal decoder, which should have been a tad bit larger

thanks for all the feedback. it is definitely on my list

it was actually derived from the krzr and the rizr. and it also has a little technology from the Razr2 in it as well, such as the crystal talk.
but yes, a very good quality phone, and can be pretty loud. i do also recommand the samsung beat or the nokia 6133 if you are looking for really loud and clear ear piece volume.

There are many things to like about the W490, but sound is not one of them. I'm returning mine tomorrow because of bad sound.
I've been using a cheap Nokia (I'd give the model number, but the TMO site is down) that had much better sound. With the W490 I always need to ask people to repeat what they've said. The sound is very mushy, especially compared to the Nokia.
