New T-Mobile network with faster data

Does anyone have any info on when T-Mobile is upgrading their data services from EDGE? I would like to know because their current speeds are slow and I want to get a new phone with HSDPA or HSUPA or something. Anyone???

starting December
NYC, Miami, Los Angeles will have HSDPA, but phone offer is limited with basic UMTS
