I thought you could only get free calls when you use their router..... or is it when you are in range of ANY open wifi?
I heard someone say that it was any open wifi.... that's why I asked...

Thanks,

Justin

If you travel internationally you can use a UMA phone with the @home addon to get free calls home as long as youre connected to WiFi. And you can also use it to call other countries at the international dialing rate, not the roaming rate.

However this is not officially supported by T-Mo, so if it bugs out for some reason youre screwed. Just make sure at all times that the phone is on WiFi(there is an indicator).

Should be interesting where this takes TMO. I think it is a very good product/solution to launch for T-Mobile as they are very good with offering the best types of plans and since in door building coverage is not great this should help ease those worries.
