Unlocked CDMA Phones??
Does anybody know of a place where I can buy an unlocked CDMA phones. There are always so many websites and indirect dealers that sell unreleased and unlocked GSM phones, but where can I get CDMA phones??? Let me know if you know of anything....please!!!

😁 If I am not mistaken you can not UNLOCK a CDMA (SPRINT, NEXTEL, and VERIZON) phone. They are only available to the specific carrier. Only GSM carrier(AT&T wireless, Cingular, T-Mobile)phones can be unlocked.

Nextel isn't CDMA. Why not carry this conversation on in a forum which is not GSM?

thats because they arent locked, all you need to do is manually program the phone

And how do you manually unlock a CDMA phone. If its true then i would like to "unlock" the Nokia 6255i. Do you need service from a CDMA carrier to make a CDMA phone work as in taking pictures, listening to mp3s, FM radio, taking videos, but no need to make phone calls?
