There is no way Verizon Wirless is going to lose this case. Verizon Wireless advertised the Motorola V710 as having Bluetooth, they did not lie about that. The phone does have Bluetooth, it just doesn't support all of the Bluetooth profiles, it only supports the wireless headset profile. I'll admit, what Verizon did was ****ty and unfair, but they didn't break any laws, they didn't wrongfully advertise, there's no grounds for a lawsuit and I'd put my money on it that they win this lawsuit.

It is the fault of the consumer for buying the phone before researching the phone's features and capabilities, which is typical of most people. They seem something fancy, they go out and buy it without even doing their homework on it. Especially wh...

I hate to tell you this-there are many unpublished cases pertaining to this. You never know where or with whom your personal information is safe with.
This one just happened to get aired out. T-Mobile handeled this aweful incident with the utmost diligence, and did everything by the book. The guy is caught, the 400 people of our 16 million here in the U.S. that were affected were notified, proper action was taken, nothing else was compromised, and the jerk is in jail....and you know what? T-Mobile put him there!

Go Team!

...and one more thing while I'm at it because this one hit a particularly sore spot for me. For the people who blame T-Mobile for what happened with the hacker- You may as well have blamed the airline(s) for what happened 9/11. Shame on you.

No, you cant blame the airline. But you can partly blame airport security. 😉

Absolutely, there is no doubt about that...
However, the point I'm trying to make is: where there is a will, there is a way.

T-Mobile, as well as any company values highly protecting its customers' security. However, nothing is 100% completely impermeable. Heck, look at what lenghs Las Vegas casinos' security takes to stop illegal activities/cheating. Does that mean that everyone who does it will get caught? Of course not. However, they do catch on, and are very unlikely to let it happen again-that same way. New methods of cheating and scaming are constantly being created, and it's securities job to iden...

What?! 😕 You don't know what you're talking about! It's not T-Mobile's fault that that hacker broke in!! Did T-Mobile give him the information that enables him to go in to their systems? No! It is his fault no theirs! Someone could probably do the same for Cingular or Verizon so don't sit around all calm & stuff and think that you're information it protect, because little do you know if someones else is doing it right now for the others carriers! Get you're information straight!!!! 🙄 😛

Wow, you need to really settle down. Do you cry and stress everytime someone says something about T Mobile?

Dont worry, it'll be okay lol. Maybe you should try displaying a little more class... if you can.

LoL! I guess I should have noticed before that I am dealing w/ and idiot here. Stupid me! 🙄 Who said I am crying or stressing? Where are you coming up with sh*t like that? And, me display class? Ok, and you're displaying class? Let me think . . . NO! You were saying in the Cingular forum " Well, T-Mobile isn't the best, that's you're opinion" And here you are saying "Well, only when Cingular rolls out their new "high-speed" system will the "quality & audio" of "Mobi-TV"
will it be better." Ok? So don't you come here and tell ME to have class meanwhile you have NONE!!! I hate dealing w/ idiots!

Haaaaa! You're a funny one! 🤣 Anxiety attack? Ok. Yes, you're the one who said I was crying & stressing out, look at you're last post! Like you said "that's you're opinion" that name calling is "no class, arrogance, immaturity! 🙄 I recall you quoting something I didn't say in the Cingular form. Does that make you recall anything? Then you're here saying I said something you didn't say. What could I possibly except from YOU, not from me! Ok, get that straight! Also, yes my opinion may differ from yours in the Mobi-TV part since our opinions differ about everything else! 🤣

Only recently have I really been hearing the term "troll" getting picked up in here. I'm sorry it throws me for a loop everytime as when I hear it I think of nasty old men that don't know when to go away that think the girls they're trying to pick up "want" them. Or will go to every last measure to make themselves be within eyes distance throwing winks and propositions out...it just makes me laugh when I hear it used in here LOL 🤣

Freedom of speech I guess...

I don't think they work for the company but those of us that do... really don't find the time to "troll" or "flame" on forums.

To each their own.
