Thinking about T-Mobile

I live in Nashville and am thinking about possible switch to T-mobile. I understand they have a trial period, Are there any costs what so ever involved in this trial period? I am wanting to keep my current service while I try out TMobile. I am a little aprehensive about their coverage and indoor reception.

Good question. Yes there is a trial period, 14 days, and yes there is a cost. The cost is that we ask you to pay for the services you used, but if you cancel there is no charge for activation, or early termination.
For example if you signed up on a $39.99 plan, and after 5 days decided you did not want it anymore, returned it and cancelled this is how it would go.
Our billing cycles are 30 days. So, we would pro-rate your chosen plan (and features if appicable) for instance $39.99/30=1.33 (which would be your per day rate).
$1.33 x 5(days)=$6.65.
So, we would ask you to pay $6.65 plus any taxes, or additional services used. (Downloads, overages, toll charges etc...) The activation fee will still apply as far as the bill, howeve...

Actually, activation fees can be credited from pending charges, check your policies!

under no install, not buyers remorse...we have to set a follow up to credit them back if I'm not mistaken, but I'll check 😉

I've run this past our call center credit auditor and have been categorically assured that if it's in pending charges we can credit it. Only thing that has to wait for bill cycle close is rerates and usage charges. He shakes his head, rolls his eyes and loses it a bit every time someone tries to insist that we HAVE to wait for bill cycle close to credit this stuff... 🤣

Everything else said is pretty much true but if you aren't sure about coverage just go talk to a t-mobile dealer or something and ask them for a personal coverage check. If you're really worried about it even after the coverage check then get a phone that gets good reception a.k.a not a camera phone. Camera phones are said to degrade reception.
