is a ccracked screen on the 5300 covered by warranty or through asurion trying to figure out my options for replacing. ty

The warranty does not cover a broken screen. Once that phone is broken t-mobile has nothing to do with it. You can claim insurance and there will be a $70 deductible. I know, I know "Why do I have to pay a deductible?" YOU JUST DO!

the only exeption to the broken screen issue is the Dash. There is a known issue with the screen braking, which will be covered by warrenty.
I do see the 5300 a lot with cracked screens though. I'd call t-mobile care and let them know, maybe eventually it will be labeled as a known issue as well.
