I've read something here and there about it. But nothing concrete, but does anyone happen to know if the Sony Ericsson S700i will be coming to T-Mobile? Thanks.

😁 You mean the S710a. The s700i if for overseas. If they carry it, it won't come until T-Mobile launches EDGE. They aren't going to offer a phone that they don't support, especially EDGE.

The S710a is exclusive to Cingular. The S700i uses the 900/1800/1900 bands. T-Mobile, as I'm sure you already know, uses only the 1900 band. Making it ideal for T-Mobile to offer, like they have with other phones, such as the Sony Ericsson T610 and t68i, which used the same bands as the S700i does.

That's the reason my father is with T-Mobile, because their phones use the 900/1800 bands for international use. Something Cingular lacks, it doesn't really meet his needs.
