Personal Coverage Check

Did anyone else see the article on Streamline yesterday that we are going to begin testing the Personal Coverage Check on the website? Select customers will have a trial period to view it(and no I don't know who).

I'm thinking that's a good thing?

Yep. I actually filed a Voice ticket myself about 8 months ago asking them if we were going to do something like this. They replied that they were currently looking into it and to watch in the coming months for something to show up on-line. I think this is a great idea. Being honest about our coverage right from the start is just one more way of giving more to our customers. 😉

If this is indeed what's happening, I think it's an excellent idea. Having an idea of exactly where your phone will work and won't work before you buy it is just plain honest. Every company should put up as detailed a coverage map as Tmobile provides to its salespersons.

I didn't see that, but I did see where they are disabling the training login ID that people have been posting on phonescoop and other forums. They seem to think that too many reps are logging in with the training ID rather than their own code. I have a feeling that's NOT the reason why they are getting way too many people logging in under the training ID. 🙄

Considering the hoopla this particular subject had going on it a short time ago, it's probably a wanted and needed thing. As we all know, trial balloons generally end up launching, for good or ill... 🤣

To those reading this who AREN'T employees, we don't know how to let you view this, we aren't supposed to even let you know it exists and we can't help you get to it, so don't ask, thanks!

Too late. We've seen it and now we want it.

It's already on the Web site (link just above the "green" coverage map). There is no "trial period" mentioned. The maps are incredible! As a customer, I see this as a sign of self-confidence by TMo and I like it.

no, no for US it's a trial. It may be removed depending on results, but then again it may remain.

Also, it's completely random as to whether a given person visiting the site sees the link or not. If ya don't see it, we can't make it come up for ya... 😛

Is this post targeting the Verizon customers who didn't see the small print regarding the v710? 😳

Uh oh, let's hope no unsatisfied V710 owner sees that because they'll come here ranting and raving how Verizon screwed them 6 ways from Sunday and that the suit against them will bring them down. These people are First Class American Grade A MORONS!

Cool, I just went to the site and it showed up. Does this depend on the market you are in?

Nope, it's random, about a fifty percent chance you see it...
