Android is Google's operating system that is going to be released later this year. It's open access so people will be able to write their own software for it and distribute it as freeware. There is a lot of potential behind Android, but it remains to be seen how successful it will be. More on Android:

Android is going to be a touch based system. It will be within Windows mobile. It will make things more touch friendly like the iphone. Go to youtube and look up android platform. Also look up the sony erricson experia i think its called. This phone already has it.

Android is going to be built on its own kernel. It won't be running on Windows. It's also not touch based. Some of the demos I've seen of Android have touch screen phones, but I've also seen Android on non-touch phones. The Xperia runs Windows Mobile, not Android.

You have no idea what you're talking about.
