Suggest T-Mobile Tower Locations

I didn't know if everyone out there knew about these websites, but there are websites out there that will allow you to submit a location for a potential T-Mobile tower location.

The first one is called T-Mobile Landlords. You can find it at www.t-mobilelandlords.com. With this option, you have to own the land where the tower is to be built upon. It's like having @Home in your backyard...with a tower... :-P

The second one is for all of you who don't want a tower on your land, or don't own land (apartment dwellers like myself lol) but you want to improve coverage in your local area...become a T-Mobile Advocate! Check it out...it's a program called T-Mobile Take Action. Here's the URL: www.t-mobile-takeaction.com.

In addition to this previous post, you can apparently call Customer Service and they can fill out a form to recommend a tower be built in the area (at least that's what a customer service rep did for me). Still no guarantee, but hey, it's worth it if it means improving coverage where you live, work and play! 🙂

How about one in LA? The service in many areas is atrocious. T-mobile claims I should get 4 bars and a solid signal, but I rarely get more than 2, and much of the time none at all. And I'm not in the middle of the wilderness, somewhere off in the hills. I'm smack in the middle of west LA, population several million. 👿

Really, if anybody has any suggestions on what I should do. I have a Nokia 6263 and I've been a loyal t-mobile subscriber for the last 4 years. I really don't want to switch because plans from other companies are just ripoffs.

I would call and explain the situation to customer service. See if they can fill out one of those forms for you or get a tech over there to look at it. Hopefully deployment of 3G in the area should improve your situation. 😉

T-mobile has the hotspot@home feature now for only about $10 per month for unlimited domestic calls over an open wireless internet connection, which would give you full coverage inside your home or anywhere there is an open wireless network,, that would solve your signal problem.. only thing you would need is to get a hotpost@home enabled cell phone..

it looks like it is hit and miss in areas around there. i know that part of the problem is that companies havent been allowed to put in new towers in LA or san diego from what i hear, and alot of those towers i hear are shared with at&t but i dont know for sure.
