question for care reps re: upgrading

my contract is up either next month (feb) or in march, i am looking to do an upgrade, i have been on the $39.99 plan the whole time (no i am not looking for a handout) and i am looking at buying the Sharp Tm-150, and also switching my plan to the new $45.99 plan at the same time, my question is this, does every customer who is renewing get new customer pricing on equipment? or is there some form of pricing scale? i am asking so i know what to expect in terms of the phone cost, also do corporate stores process upgrades? and can phone costs be billed to the acct or must the phone be paid for in person? that is all 😎

You get "same as new" pricing every time you hit 11 months on a qualified rate plan since the last time you upgraded. Months with suspensions get kicked out of the equation, so check with customer care for your eligibility. Currently, the TM150 is 99.99 after a 100.00 mail in rebate with full discount. If you aren't at full tenure for upgrade, go ahead and change the rate plan as it doesn't affect your eligibility. And maybe the rebate will get better, no way of knowing for sure... I caught my E105 just right and got it free, my buddy got his a week and a half before me and paid forty bucks... good shopping karma... 🤣

Nope, checked again, 199.99 and 100.00 rebate. Subject to change without notice, of course... 😁

GREAT choice! It's a really good phone...a bit tricky to learn ( as far as navigation), but once you have it down it's all good.

yeah and the fact that NO ONE has a 1.3MP cam phone for that cheap 😁, i played with the phone yesterday at the store, it was a toss up between the TM-150, TM-200 and the P735, i love samsung to death but i am really not liking the swivel design (the price hurts too ahah), but yeah, so as far as RF go...

The TM-200 isn't actually out though, as far as I know, and I haven't even heard any mention of when it might be. The TM-150 did just take a huge price drop, also. It went from 299 to 199, and actually the $100 rebate is only good for renewal customers. The regular rebate for activations is only $50. As far as 1.3 megapixel camera phones go, not only is it the cheapest out there, but it is also by far the best picture quality, and easiest to get your pictures from since it has a hot-swappable SD card slot. I'm in love with this phone. I actually printed an acceptable 8X10 from it, which blew my mind. If you are only printing 4x6's, it could conceivably replace your digital camera for casual snapshots. As far as quality phones go, nob...

Right, but that isn't going to do you any good as far as upgrading here goes. It also doesn't guarantee that it will ever be available here.
