Coverage in Washington, DC

I'm trying to find out what the coverage is like in the DC area. If I go to places like New York or San Francisco or Cleveland am I going to have a signal?

Looking at the coverage map it looks like there is sparse coverage. I am thinking of buying the Samsung E-150 and signing up with T-Mobile but I am skeptical of their coverage...

Thoughts on coverage?

DC/Baltimore area should be great coverage, and NYC no problem. I've used my phone in cleveland before, and it's worked fine, however I've not particularly looked too closely at all coverage there, throughout all areas and surronding, that is, and from my understanding San Fransisco/Bay area has in the past needed some improvements, but has steadily been getting better. Go to this link and click on "Check your coverage", just to the upper right hand side of the picture of the mop. This is our personal coverage check mapping system. It is a much more detailed map than the one you will see at first (in green). It will allow you to enter addresses, intersections, and follow the legend to determine what type of coverage to expect in what areas e...

You have some sort of idea that major cities don't have coverage. I'm not sure why you believe that some cities do not have coverage. It's like everywhere else that conditions will vary depending on lots of factors such as weather, terrain and other things. A better question to ask would be "what is coverage like in X neighborhood...
