reducing a $1071 phone bill, anyway at all? HELP!@!!

So my girlfriends phone bill 2 months ago was $312, then she got her phone bill for the previous month today and it was $1071, is there anything possible she can do to get the $1071 reduced? I mean, thats crazy, thats over a year of service for most people....

Well, in all seriousness, what charges made it that high? (did your friend go over her minutes, etc.... ?)

i dont know for sure, im not sure how she could go over so much, when i had T Mobile the most i ever went over was like $400 or so. i think its a combination of text messages and going over the minutes, i dont know, she might not have free nights and weekends, i didnt even know they still made plans like that 🙄 but supposedly they do cause she said something about that

before continuing on any further then, she needs to find out what her plan consists of, and compare it to what she thought/assumed/knew she had...if there are any discrepancies we'll go from there. 🙂

shes a girl, and she used to be a cheerleader, i dont think she had any clue what her plan consisted of 🙄 im supposed to look at it tomorrow and see whats up, cause $1071 is out of control, i want to see it just to make sure its not fake and also to laugh at her cause she'll cry

Well here's the thing: if there are any differences between what she thought she had and what she actually has, then it is possible we may, again I say may, be able to offer some assistance with re-rating the bill. Of course, we'd have to review the account to validate her claim, and it is possible we could still say no, but if she really was supposed to (for instance/example) have nights unlimited and her rate plan doesn't have nights, and due to that it caused her overage then it's more than likely we're going to be more able to help than not.

However, if she just simply talked a lot and just happened to go over her minutes etc...then the charges will be found to be valid, and we'll ask her to pay for them. At that point, most reps wou...
