Specific Coverage Question

I really think I could definitely switch to T-Mobile because of the price of plans after being with Cingular almost exclusively for 8 years. I just need to know if there is any roaming partners in Lexington, TN. I know the map on their website does not show coverage there but they said they might have an agreement with Cingular and thus have a signal. Help. Is there hope? Will I inccur any roaming charges whatsoever with T-mobile? This is such a big decision for me being so brand loyal but I can not keep spending the money I do on Cell Phone Bills due to un-expected circumstances.
Thanks
