Motorola V180 - Backordered?
Does anyone know about how long it is taking to ship out the V180? When I called and ordered this phone they said it was backordered and tried to get me to purchase a different one instead. Are these phones that popular, or is Motorola just not keeping up with demand?

In a word, yes. The backorder has been going on for a while, no word on when it will let up, and it's effective on both upgrade and exchange orders, which indicates that failure to get inventory from Motorola is definitely a factor.

I flatly refuse to speculate on that, it's been variable and the official line doesn't match the reality, so basically pick a day and you'll have just as good a shot at being right as if I had picked it... 😕

Yes...the phones are THAT popular, and yes, motorola is having a hard time keeping up with the demand...
we've had this back order since the day they were released, and it has varied (as far as how long the predicted shipping time would take), as someone else said. There really is no accurate guess. Even most stores are out of them!

Our store just got some in.. a whopping 10 of them. That's makes a total of 20 received in the last month and a half, when we have at least 10 people a day asking for it.

😁 Mine came in today! And I just ordered it Monday. I think T-Mobile ships from Lagrange, GA so to come to Augusta is 1 day shipping after processing and USPS delivery.
