So I ordered a 5310 a couple of weeks ago when it came out. I ordered insurance and they told me it would be 5.99 a month plus a 70$ deposit. I paid 213$ for the phone itself. I don't understand why this particular model is more. I had a blackberry and the insurance was cheaper... I paid 400$ for that phone... WTF??? AM I wrong here or is Tmobile???

5.99 and 70 is the correct amount for that phone, since it is in tier 2 of the Asuion policy. You did not have a blackberry that was cheaper, blackberry phones are in the tier 3 and the deductible is 110, you may have done a warranty exchange on the phone but you didn't do an insurance claim...the prices are set regardless if you paid full invoice for a handset in which you did by paying 213. you are more than welcome to check asurions website for more clarification.

Thanks,
I was not clear on how they determine the prices. I mean, I work for Verizon and the deductible is all the same price of $50.... Just wondering why Tmobile every phone is different

no problem...that is the major gripe that we hear from customers as well, but the reason that they tell us is the fact that you pay more for your monthly bill with verizon so in the long run you actually are paying more, not sure if that makes sense...i believe the deductibles will start to go down in the near future and we actually started testing out doing the exchanges instore rather then a phone being shipped to you in a couple of our markets

Like at AT&T there is a $5o deductible, for all phones except for the iPhone because Asurion does not cover that. However, after Nov. 3. I believe, all tier 2 devices will be $125

Hi All:
I recently got a 5310, my cousin send me from the US. I am in Panama. Here, U can find the phon,e but hey, I got the one form the US.
The thing is that this phone comes more equipped than the one they sell here, with a bunch of pgms already installed like Mail messaging, and platforms to just put ur email address and password.
I started to use it and requested the GPRS service down here and the platforms are NOT working, always gives me error in connection.

I was wondering if there is soemthing I am not doing well in order for this phone to accept the platforms so I can check my emails??
I even downloaded the gmail mobile version and it doesnt work.

Any suggestion?
Tks

Just need to go to Nokia.com and look for the 5310 and they will send an OTA for the service provider you select. Its free too. Nokias are cool like that.
