AMEN!!! I also want a QWERTY keyboard phone and T-mobile doesn't have any good ones. Either you go with a Blackberry or like you said the sidekick or wing and neither one of them has any buttons on the front which means you would have to open up the phone every time you dial a number. How inconvenient! Thanks god our contract ends in April next year and unless they come out with something to upgrade to for free like the LG Rumor or LG Env, its going to be BYE BYE T-mobile after 5 years. Seems like they are still stuck on the Razr and they are pretty much played out by now. LOL!

of the four major us mobile services tmobile has the absolute worst phone selection.

and looking at the upcoming releases its all the same of what they currently have.

their most recent release the sidekick was doa. no wifi, no 3g support ... terrible interface and so outdated it makes the treo look modern. my ten year old nephew isn't even impressed with changing the shell .. how silly of a feature is that?

to keep their fourth place usa market share, behind att, verizon and sprint they really need to step up to the plate with some fresh phones, pdas and the like.

Pfft I want to get the Nokia 5610, but I only want to buy it out right. Sadly, can not afford that right now. And of course the HTC Dream/Diamond/Android I am waiting for but eh.. will be awhile. I wonder what other PDA phones will be out around Sept.

I've heard rumors that the first Android device will be released as early as October 1st. I'll believe it when I see it, but I think it will be worth waiting for.

But no qwerty or sure type style keypads ☚ī¸ So for texting they're pretty terrible phones.

I think TMO needs a ENV type phone or something upgraded in their PDA selection. They really don't even have a good multimedia phone such as the Instinct. In fact, they don't really have a flagship phone at all.

I agree with the EnV style phone. I see requests for a phone with a full keyboard all the time. People that want to use a phone for text messaging don't necessarily need a smartphone, and the Sidekick is kind of in a class of its own with the $20 Sidekick package. T-Mobile would do well to pick up a regular phone (3G) with a keyboard on it. We'll see what comes later this year.

Have to echo the "disappointed" in the handset choices. I'm a fan of Sony Ericsson generally (I've had 4 since my original T610), and was thrilled to see the TM506 appear. Then I read the specs. Why no quad band GSM? I know for many people it won't matter, but I travel offshore just enough to want a phone that can talk in all places there's GSM. Is it so hard to get this right???

I don't mind buying the unlocked phones, but with T-Mobile going 3G in the AWS band, there's going to be limited handset choices. I like T-Mobile's service, but this might be the thing that finally pushes me out....

Just hold on a little while longer my friend. Word on the street is t_mo is aboutto get some of the hottest phones once we get 3g fully rolling. T-mo already has the cheapest rate plans and the Best customer service. I felt a lot better when I heard these flagship phones was comin our way
