GSM 800/1900

If u look at the two phones coming out for tmobile: v171 and the samsung e335 they both operate on the 800/1900 band...in my area 1900 band cannot find signals...and the 800 as stated by the phonescoop link is the same thing as 850 which means maybe tmobile is trying to buy roaming agreements from cingular...b/c how else would this phone find service in my area...right now my v300 uses the 900 band? who knows

sry i was wrong not the e335...thats on the 900 band..but what about the V171?!?!?! is tmobile planning on purchasing cingular networks/agreements!?!?!? i hope so

You mean 1900! 900 is a oversea's frequency!

The reason that the 800 is on there is because Cingular is going to get that phone as well. If it was a T-Mobile exclusive, then it just would have been a tri-band 900/1800/1900.
