PTT to tmobile or cingular???

does anyone know if tmobile or cingular is gonna start offering ptt service? the new nokia 6682/6681 had ptt and looks like its going to be available to both cingular and tmobile...(says 900 instead of 800 for 6682{tmobile})y would they take on a phone with ptt if they dont offer it?

i doubt it will happen anytime soon, being that only a small select market is interested in PTT i doubt it will happen anytime within the next 2-3 years but thats just a guess

It'll definitely happen with Cingular a lot faster than Tmobile. Cingular's got the data services in place to add PTT to their platform. You can do it with GPRS, as Kodiak's proven with Orange in Europe...but it'll go down a lot smoother with EDGE/UMTS.

is it true that all GSM companies will be able to PTT one another? I was told that a while back.

Im not sure if any of the US Gsm carriers are going to offer it anytime soon. But when it comes, most likely it will be with Cingular. T Mobile does not have the spectrum to upgrade to 3G yet, so it's pretty safe to say that they would concentrate on that first before looking into PTT.
