Anyone know of a good way to repair scratches on the screens of phones? I have a scratch on my Sidekick and I wanted to get it fixed. Thanks in advance!

I have a possible solution: I have a sidekickII and already I have a slight scratch on the screen, so I found online (ebay) dirt cheap some screen protectors that work very well...even with the small scratch I have, you can't really notice it with them on it.

My brother has the Sidekick 2 and has a few scratches on his screen. Would you be able to buy screen protectors in stores? Like in a T-Mobile store or a dealer?

well it would depend on how deep the scratch is, but you can try this mild rubbing compound that they make to take scratches out of tail lights on cars.......may work

I really don't know, they aren't listed as accessories on T-Mobile.com, and I've never seen them in a store...actually what I did is my roommate has the ipaq, and I have a sidekickII, we bought some "universal" pda screen protectors off of ebay...fits the ipaq like a glove, I have to trim a little off the edges, but hey for $5 for 100 of them you can't complain....I looked back at the auction, and the place I got them from has an ebay store called buyessex.com. There's a lot of cell phone stuff and accessories on there-dirt cheap!

Try Scratch X, it's made for cars, you could find it in any auto mobile supply store. It works great on car scratches, cd scratches, I dont see why it wouldnt work on display scratches.

They make this stuff that you can fill in scratches on reading glasses with. I bet that would work.

Why don't you just call T-Mobile and tell then your 2 button stopped working ....then they will send you out a scratch free phone and they will pay shipping both ways too... (3-5days) 2day shipping will cost you 15 bucks.... the only bad thing is that you will be getting a refurb phone, but you won't even be able to tell the difference between a new one and the one you will be getting. =)

Could you then swap out the faceplates and send back the refurb phone?

more than likely you will get only the front faceplate if that (depending on the phone)

What you have just suggested is defrauding our company. The program we use is for customers with legitimate problems, not tiny little scratches. How about you stop giving out dumb advise like this? 👿
