Got a question for the data pros around here...
1)If using a handset as a modem via data cable, will different phones have better or worse speeds? And is so, how can I look these up or should I just ask you folks?
2)This might seem silly, but the info I can find is limited. Is using an aircard in the above situation faster than handsets altogether?
I'd appreciate any help, including actual data rates. But I'm all about learning so if anyone knows where this info is available that be great t...

I'm working for an indirect dealer for T-mobile (started a few weeks ago...we're not a sleazy one, promise 🙂 ) I've been learning alot (mostly from here) but had some questions more out of personal interest. For one, I know the t-mo internet isn't blazing fast but I have a couple situations:

yeah, right now unfortunately our data speeds aren't the fastest, but we're definately working on improving that. Temp is right, but let me add a little to that: data speed does have a tendancy to fluctuate based on a few factors; mostly the density of the coverage you're in, but the device you're using can affect that too, depending on the devices browser/software. Also, if you're planning on using an aircard, besides the one we sell there are several others out there you can get that just like an unlocked phone will work with a sim card, and necessary software installed. Make sure it's at least 802.11mb. Technically, this is "wi-fi" speed, but doesn't necessarily always hold true unless you're right
