Question... if I'm on this new web2go package with 50mb and I hit my 50, will I be notified somehow? Or is there a way to check my data usage like there is with the minutes?

OK, to add to my question...

I called T-mobile tonight to switch to the 9.99 package and, after some research, they said that my Behold is a "smartphone" and I'd have to be on the 24.99 package. What makes it a smartphone? The touchscreen? Other than that, it's not really any different than my T639 or razr, in terms of features.

Paying over 20 bucks for a slow t-zones is not my idea of a good time!

So my question is that if I was on the $9.99 data package, would it work the same as if I was on the 24.99 package (or my total internet package that I have now)??

Understand that I'm not a big data user. That's prolly why I love the behold, cause it's not a big data phone. I get on the web periodically but I'm not about to spend 20 bu...

Once you hit the 50MB cap, it charges you by the kilobyte, but completely stops you after you hit $15 in overage, so the highest it can be is $35

The Behold is infact a very data-centric phone with the fact that it's a touchscreen, has full internet browsing, and is 3G. I personally do not see the point of getting a behold, G1, blackberry, or any of the internet phones without full internet capabilities.

I called customer care back and the rep agreed that the Behold is not a smartphone. I had the total internet package on my phone for $20 a month. He switched me back to t-zones for $5.99 (that I used for about 2 days before getting total internet) and there is no difference in speeds or the web pages that I am able to access. My maps program works the same, my telenav works the same, my bill will be the only thing that's different.

I don't know about the G1 and the web pages it can pull up but my Behold scrunches the html sites that I open and it makes it a rather less than enjoyable experience when surfing the web. Can I log into the "real" cnn site? No. It pulls up the mobile version. I can't pay my T-Mobile bill on the Behold because i...

You are correct the Behold is really not a smart phone. I like to call it a mutlimedia phone. You can use the web2go with it but you won't get full web browsing.

The Behold doesn't offer full web browsing, only html (I'm assuming the G1 does?). It can't pull up flash. I think that's where the confusion is with the data.

I don't know but we're getting off my initial question, which doesn't really matter anymore anyway since T-Zones is doing the exact same thing that the Total Internet package was doing for me.
