The Gravity Battery

T-Monster

Does anyone have any idea how to expand the battery life on the samesung gravity?

I've had customers return this phone because it can't hold a charge to save it's life! 6 Hours of standby and it's down to 2 battery bars out of 5. I didn't believe them at first, so i took one for a spin for the day. I took it off the charger at 10am, didn't use it, and by like 6 it was almost dead.

any thoughts?

Serious problem there. Samsung is working on a update. Alot of phone dont have this problem though. It IS considered a "known" issue though and can be exchanged if properly troubleshooted.

This is a really strange issue, and our Samsung rep even addressed it with us. They are currently experiencing a problem with the display for the battery life, not an actual battery life problem. Its a software problem, not hardware. For some reason, the display shows the battery life draining really quickly. In truth, when the battery meter only shows 1 bar of life left, it actually has around 40% life left (obviously that's when it first drops to 1 bar). I have tested this on several of them, and it is true. It will stay at 1 bar for like 2 days.
Try it out, its true. So yeah, it sucks, but at least it is actually getting the intended battery life. 🙂

The way to determine whether or not your phone is really going to die is if your battery indicator is "blinking". It won't blink if you are experience the problem smylax is refering too. (unless it is really just dieing)
