unlocked smartphone and internet plan
i got an unlocked smartphone.
do i use web2go or the total unlimited smartphone plan for internet?
i called last week to add web2go and it didn't work. so i called again today to add the unlimited plan.
correct approach or customer service lack knowledge? i am not bashing.

It depends on the phnoe. I know the iphone can work on the basic web2go but Winmo phones don't unless you use a proxy hack. The total internet plan should work.

i got a nokia e71.
i tried it with web2go. it would work a few times and then stop and take me to the page where it says i need to subscribe to the service which i did.
so, yesterday i called customer service again and they told me i need the total plan since it is a smartphone. so i added the total plan.
shouldn't the signal indicator on the phone display a capital "E" if all is working?
