Behold vs BB 8900

What are the major differences between these two phones? I understand the basic differences like touch screen vs key pad, 5MP vs 3MP camera etc. I went through the comparison chart and could not understand certain features.

1) GPS - Both phones have GPS capabilities. Does that mean if i sign up for their data plan i can use it as GPS device for driving directions?
2) WIFI - 8900 has WIFI but behold does not. Both phones more or less require a data plan and in that case how does a WIFI differ?
3) Is 8900 a 3G phone? Is there any difference between the web browsing capabilities of 8900 and Behold?
4) The comparison lists Behold as not capable of data, but at the same time likes it is capable of packet data. I am confused by those two dif...

I like the 8900. The Behold is basically a regular phone with a 5MP camera and touchscreen. It is not a fully functioning smartphone. The 8900 has a really nice version of Blackberry OS, and it is wifi enabled both for data and voice. Neither phone requires a data plan to function, just to qualify for the MIR. Both phones use GPS through Telenav, which comes with a trial (30 days I think) and its 9.99 a month after that. Telenav does provide spoken turn by turn directions.
The 8900 is not 3G. The web browsers are both full HTML, but I prefer the 8900's. The 8900 will run circles around the Behold when it comes to battery life. Both phones are very ergonomic and sleek. As a user of the 8320 and G1, the Behold is hard for me to adjust to. I'...

I'd go with the 8900 if you are a grown up. The behold feels like a toy to me.The 8900 is sweet and can really be used as a smart phone.
