Okay so I work for AT&T customer care but i know nothing about T-mobile.

I have unlimited messaging and when I text Twitter updates or receive any I am am being charge pay per use. Twitter is a free service that sends out updates about what you or your friends are doing. It does use a short code though.

Now when I receive messages from anybody else, I am not charged.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Thanks for the help and info in advance.

Sounds like something on twiter's end. I'd grab a different line and call tech. There may be a known issue or something. I have somethings that come in similar to that and i'm not getting charged. Sounds odd. I'll bet it's showing as content gateway which is where the charges would show up if the 3rd party is charging you. On you bill is it just being charged as text? Or under the end of the bill where ringtones and games also show up?

The short code texting is causing some issues. Call customer care they should be able to get it figured out and fixed. I had a customer who was using upoc and it did the same thing...
