My friend had T-mobile just recently upgraded to a G1 around February loves the phone. And i have another friend who has T-mobile and is out of contract. They both have been with T-mobile for 6 years. Both of them didn't know that Tmobile offered that unlimited talk for 49.99 and i told them i heard about it on phonescoop. If I'm not mistaken i was told you have to be a t-mobile customer for 24 months. So the one out of contract calls in and they gave it to him no questions asked and tried to get him to upgrade and get a new phone, which he didn't but he got the plan.. Now the first friend of mine called and they kept beating around the bush and wont give him the plan... what gives??

The second friend could have just gotten a lazy rep. But the problem with the unl plan is that it doesn't always show up for customers who technically should qualify. If your friend has had their phone suspended numerous times could effect it as well. I would just have them go into a store and talk to a sales rep their.

He cant do anything. The Unlimited 49.99 offer is a solid offer. If he isn't qualified they won't give it to him. 22 months of service is not the only thing you need to have. There are several other determinations to get it. Unfortunatly all of them aren't going to be spelled out. I doubt its laziness because its extremly easy to move a customer to a rateplan. Sorry i'm sure its frustrating for him.

But i dont understand why they wouldnt spell it out for him or tell him why he is not, thats like telling your customer "hey your not as much value to us as this other customer and we wont tell you why". At sprint they tell you clearly how to become a premire customer... makes no sense. There h...

The system automatically tagged all customer accounts that were eligible for the loyalty plan.
If the one who was not approved already recieves a corporate discount or something like that, they were excluded from this program.
Also, payment history is a factor. Accounts that have a poor payment history were supposedly not eligible.
