Android. Lets really talk about the possiblities.
Ok I am new to posting here but have been reading this site since 2002. Which is as long as I have been in wireless. I just really wanted to talk about android in a serious manner and how much I really think it is going to take over wireless.
I have been using an the g1 for about six months now and have been extremely satisfied. HAVE HAD MANY PHONES BEFORE. Including Iphone. Which was a great experience and a great phone. But i have been completely blown away by the possibilities of android. I am currently using a new android model that is not currently for sale but will be soon and it is awesome! I'm right there with you! I too am using this new phone (cough mytouch cough). I have used windows and blackberry, and although I've never owned an iphone, I have used several. The OS is awesome, it really is. The G1 wasn't a perfect phone (I've never seen a perfect phone), but damn is it good!!
There is a plethora (I love that word) of sweet phones coming out with Android. I can't wait to play with the new Sense UI on the Hero!
I've used the TouchPro2 and the Dash 3G. I've also used several Blackberries. Once Android adds Exchange support (with the myTouch!) then the only advantage Blackberry has is battery life. But this is because they are not touchscreen (except the Storm) so of course they will get better battery life.

You have not mentioned one thing about the palm web OS, i have used (not owned) a g1 and iphone multiple times and is nothing like the web OS. I currently have a touch pro WMO device but the thing i like about WM phones is how well it sync with my.

I haven't used Web OS, so I can't really judge it. It looks nice, but I am very skeptical of Palm. They put out so much garbage for so long that I'm going to have to overcome some serious personal bias (admittedly) to give them a shot.

Glad to hear that you like the new phone, I've been on the fence on getting an android phone because I never really liked the design of the G1...I'm curious since you have had an iphone what the big differences are from your perspective?
