Question please help

Hi recently lost(got stolen) my G1 at a party and instead of replacing it through insurance for crap refurbished G1, was thinking of having my mom upgrade her phone finally its been like 4 years for her upgrade... anyways if she were to upgrade her phone to the mytouch3G and give it to me and I use it on my exhisting G1 data plan would that work or would there be any issues along the way? thanks for the help people

It will work. Problem will be the rep will want to add the data onto you moms line. You cant get the 149.99 price with out adding the REQ data on the plan.

No.. If your mom has a text feature of 14.99 or higher tht will work too. To have a mytouch or any other "all-in-one devices" you have to have a qualifying feature.. 14.99 text 24.99 data or 34.99 text and date will all work.. (or the 29.99 business BB corp). If you don't want one of these you'll be looking at paying full price.

Problem has been solved thanks guys there wasnt any issues at all with the rep got it for sale price just upgraded and renewed the contract for the 2 year agreement. Typing all his up on the mytouch keyboard and it feels pretty awesone, I must say. The phoneis nice over all its alot sexier then the G1 thats the main plus... no hard keyboard is the only down fall...

Actually the $14.99 bundle is not an option with the Sidekicks, G1, or myTouch. It is an option for the WinMo devices (Dash, TP2), and Blackberries.
Your best bet if you're wanting to use one line's upgrade but use it with a different line, go to a retail store. If you do it online it will automatically add the required data plan to your mom's line. In the store they can put it on the correct line manually.
