I miss having good voice quality and solid coverage. I never should have left for AT&T in 2007. Big mistake on my part. Big, big mistake.

Hey, I'm right there with you, only I switched to Verizon (and was kind of forced into that one due to the fact that I live in BFE). Luckily I will be switching back to T-Mobile by the end of September since they have coverage where I live now. 😉

Oh, if only they had more coverage and a bigger 3G footprint. ☚ī¸

I don't use 3G so this ain't an issue for me. But yes, their native network is the smallest of the big 4, but if you live in a good coverage area, their call quality is great.

I actually feel the opposite of you. I left AT&T and now I am disappointed with the service I get with T Mobile. If I go into a supermarket, mall, or any building, the call drops or the phone starts beeping to let me know that I lost service. I never had this problem with AT&T. It gets really annoying sometimes so after my 6 month period for LetsTalk rebates is up, I am probably going to shoot over to Verizon. Every since Friends & Family dropped, I think AT&T is now overpriced plus most of my family has moved over to Verizon.

What market are you in? I am in Chicago, fixing to move to Denver and T-Mobile's coverage in Chicago is great (I used to have them). Denver has great coverage too...

I am in Houston. T Mobile's service is not that bad here its just that when you go into buildings you can forget about service. That is my only gripe with them. I love the price and like my BB 8900 but I am just frustrated with the lack of building penetration.

I also miss T-mobile. Unfortunately the plans aren't as competitive as they once were. If I could save $30 per month from what I'm paying Sprint on my 2 lines, I'd be back to T-mobile in no time flat. Unfortunately comparing side by side, T-Mobile's plan would end up costing me the same...and since I have no complaints about Sprint, why would I leave?

something i learned a long time ago is if its not broke don't fix it. I've been a tmobile customer off and on since voicestream days. I've never had real problems with them ohter than signal in Vstream days. Now that it t-mobile i'm sitting good. I've switched 3 different times in about 11 years and each time i left was because the grass was always greener or it seemed. Between billing problems or huge network issues i've always came back to t-mobile. Prices has changed a bit but there are ALWAYS promos they offer and if you can grab in on one of those sometimes it makes it better. Who know sprint may become tmobile at one point. Let's see what happens in the next couple of months or even years.

😁 Well, well, well. This post got me thinking, every time I check TMO's website to see if I've been covered by their 3G yet...no such luck. ☚ī¸

Well I just checked again...guess what... 😁 it says I'm now covered!
I'm going to the store tomorrow to verify this. Strange there wasn't any announcement, you'd think TMO would want any and everyone to know when their 3G footprint expands.

New 3G cities are launched nearly every day. They can't make an announcement for each one. Tmonews.com does a pretty good job of keeping track of 3G launches.

So I went to the local TMO store and yes indeed we've got TMO 3G in my area now.

But I played around with the Mytouch, Snap, and TP2...does the call volume get louder after you activate them? 😕

All the reviews I read said that all 3 of those phones had great call volume...ah not the ones I used.
Although the TP2 did have a totally loud speaker phone and the best quality out of the 3, the earpicece wasn't that loud.

Anyone have these phones, is better when you get it activated or something?
