t-mo data & curve 8900???
can you purchase the 8900 from t-mobile without getting the data plan? I tried and the sales rep told me they arent allowed to sell it without the data plan. is this true and if so, is there a way around it? i want the phone but i do not need the data plan. Any info is appreciated. thanks

i dont need the data plan because i dont need internet. i am fine using wifi at home and work. i like the phone non-the less. can you cancel the data plan after you a month?

YEA I AGREE WITH U...THATS WHAT I TRIED TO EXPLAIN WHEN I WAS PURCHASING MY BLACBERRY CURVE 8520 SINCE I HAVE T-MOBILE@HOME AND I HAVE A FREE WIRELESS CONNECTION AT WORK...BUT THE GUY TOLD ME I HAD TO HAVE IT ATLEAST A MONTH SO IMA TAKE HIS WORD AND WAIT A MONTH UNTIL I CALL AND TRY TO CANCEL THE DATA PLAN 🙂

and then you will be told you are required to keep that said data plan or one that qualifies on that said line. even if you loose that blackberry.. There isn't a sneaky way around it. If you want a product purchase the things that are supposed to be on it. If you want a phone without data get a phone first device.
