I noticed that yesterday - I was doing a firmware update for a customer who had bought a new IPAQ and it wasn't on the T-Mobile website! Luckily, we had the updates on one of our store computers. Does anyone know where they went to? They used to be in the handhelds section of the T-Mobile website, but they're not there anymore. I checked under the support section, but I couldn't find them there either.

I was informed that we were to ship all 6315's back. They are to be reprogrammed from an outside vendor. I am not sure if they will return or someting will replace it. The phone had great intentions and I would love to see it return.

Really?! I hadn't been told anything about shipping ours back - do you work at a corporate store? (I work for a master dealer, so that may be the differenc).

It is by far a 3000% better phone after that update. It is by far better than the stupid tmobile update. It is 100% safe as I have upgraded the firmware on over 20 h6315s.

Here is a direct link to the hacked update:

And once again, if it turns out it isn't completely safe and causes damage to the unit, your manufacturer's warranty is VOID. This download is 100% at your own risk. Proceed with caution, and it might not be prudent to assume before the new software upgrade comes out that it won't be a good one.
