Motorola v300 help
Is there a way I can either unlock a motorola v300 or does anyone know the subsidy password for it? I have a cingular customer who, when ever she puts the cingular sim card in, it ask for the subsidy password. Can some one help me here?

sevral diff ways to get sim unlock codes, to due it freely, try to contact serv provider, or go to google.com and type "moto v300 sim unlock" this should pull lots of websites up for you, some will ask for cash, but if you find a WAREZ site (hacker site) they will usaully decode IMEI for free (IMEI and code is diff for every phone)
PS if you try code to many times will permantly disable phone

so there is no one here who works for t-mobile that can supply the subsidy passcode?

They can supply the subsidy codes - they just won't (unless you're an existing customer - read my other post). They are protecting their investment in providing the customer the cell phone at a reduced cost.

First of all, there is no universal way to remove the subsidy code. Each cell phone has a unique unlock code put in place by the service provider. This unlock code is paired to the IMEI for the specific V300 that your customer has. The only people that have access to the unlock code is T-Mobile corp. T-Mobile is actually fairly lenient about giving customers the unlock codes for their phone, but you have to have been an active customer for at least 90 days, be up to date on your billing, and that particular phone has to registered as the phone being used on the account. definitely be carefule out doing anything on web, and be even more careful when tryng to unlock phone (as to many attempts will disable phone) but I as CC rep have never seen an unlocked/hacked phone void warranty, the exception that Ive seen, is lady tries to put Sim unlock code in to many times and phone then becomes unusable, this does not automatically void the warranty, but if phone is older then 1 yr or never had warranty in the 1st place (which i find common for people trying to unlock phone) then they would be SOL
But I found a site once that has found algorithm for nokia and moto phone's the could decode the sim unlock from IMEI, found couple of CD key's for many of games there to, but site has been shut down by now, but similar...
