what phone to get?
service is up at end of april...tired of waiting for t-mobile to release phones...going to buy a gsm phone on ebay....i want to spend about $300....no more....what phone do u think i should get...im thinking the S710a, but it looks a bit pricey...like $500, which to me is not worth it...any suggestions...i want megapixel camera,speakerphone,mp3 player w/ expansion slot would be nice...dont need bluetooth but if i get the other features im sure it will come with bluetooth....thanks nick

ok first of all t-mobile doesnt carry the V3...second of all im a current customer so if i signed up it wouldnt be a new contract...and third u prob thinkin cancel service and sign up under different name...but i want to keep my # so thats not happening....

doesnt matter, its GSM and its quad band which means its unlockable, some 3rd party vendors will give you a discounted price on an upgrade on an unlocked phone (like what i did recently), but the V3 does not have the megapixel cam NOR the expansion slot

you want too much from a phone given your price range is what i think, but the closest thing to what you want would be the sharp TM 150
...
i dont need all that i listed for that price...

along with a nice solid built phone

well the only phone SIMILAR to that the tmobile currently offers for a decent price is the sharp TM150, on upgrade its like $99 after MIR, there are NO tmobile phones availible w/ a megapixel cam AND speakerphone, they have phones with one but not the other, and you have your price range listed so its tough to get what you want for that cheap, which is why i think you are...
