It happened
The reason I left Sprint was the customer service at there retail locations. These are their actual stores and not 3rd party retailers.
I had to make a decision, buy the HTC hero through sprint, or head to T-Mobile and purchase the myTouch 3G+. I went in with my wife's phone to have it yet fixed again. She had the first Instinct, and it kept blacking out and shutting off. Every time I went, they were just so rude, like... Now what?
Still I kept a positive attitude. I asked the last time, can we just swap it out for a warranty replacement, you guys reinstalled the firmware 3 times already. They said no, because it was a software issue and it may just be a corrupted text message?
I tried another store when it happened again. Same thing, same horrible customer service. I Really was proud to have sprint, I always had good things to say about them, but... I just couldn't deal with the poor attitudes everything I went in.
Look, I am not saying all reps are this way, but in my area they were. They have to understand they are the face of Sprint. This is who the customer see's when they need help. I was upset they wouldn't just replace the phone with the same model after 4 attempts, but the attitudes they had were the final factor.
My friend told me to check out t-mobile before resigning with Sprint. I was treated very good when i went in, very friendly and professional service. My old plan compared to my t-mobile plan were about the same.
So I bought 2 myTouch 3G+ phones, for me and the wife. I have had T-Mobile for a week now, and very impresses with the speed of there 3G speed in my area and the quality of service.
This post, was not to bash sprint, but to hope there customer service improves for there existing customers. I really enjoyed Sprint, but I had to go.
I just wanted to share my experience with you all, and maybe someone can relate to my experience. Glad to be with T-Mobile again!
Thanks!
Go Broncos!
Yes T-Mobile works very well in Denver and the suburbs(Thornton,Westminster,Aurora,etc...)
Safe trip!
Latency on Sprint EV-DO is very good, but T-Mobile has way better throughput (TP with Sprint versus N900 with T-Mobile).
T-Mobile 3G is rather reliable even the traffic is extremely high in NYC.
